About Our Name. Our chef is from New Zealand, (could you tell?) Our logo is obviously the famous Kiwi. The world's smallest flightless bird, native to, and found only in New Zealand.

We speak a language similar to American English but just can't seem to adopt some of the local phrases. For instance - our food is 'taken away' by our customers. Our food is not 'to go.' You can eat it here if you like.

Folks from New Zealand are simple and direct. No need to complicate things. The word KIWI' is possessive. No need to add an "s" - the apostrophe says it all. Simple, eh? Write it KIWI' - say it kiwi's. Simple and direct.

Visitors from around the world, (and the local' too,) recognize our hamburgers as hamburgers. They do, however, have a distinctly unique flavor - they are fresh; as are the ingredients that you can add. Simple and direct.
